Tate’s Duty Management team are responsible for ensuring our galleries are safe and secure, and that everyone who walks through our doors has an inspiring visit. We’re looking for Duty Managers to support our out of hours event delivery, covering mornings and evenings throughout the year. With a range of high profile, dynamic and varied events, you will lead teams to ensure a seamless client and guest experience. Co-ordinating incident response and providing support to Tate’s Events departments, you will use your problem solving and operational skills to ensure event guests have a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will bring experience of leading operations in a fast paced, high-profile setting, with an understanding of how to balance client requests, guest needs and reputational awareness. You will be a confident communicator with a positive attitude and sound operational judgement. Please note that this role is zero-hours position. Advance notice will be given of shifts that are available on a monthly basis which will fluctuate throughout the year based on Tate’s programming and event schedule. Due to the responsibilities of the role, commitment to shifts is essential and a minimum of 48 hours notice will be required if shifts cannot be completed.
