About the Role
The National Autistic Society is the UK’s leading charity for autistic people, transforming lives since 1962. We are seeking a Finance Manager to join our Adult Services Finance Business Partnering team. This newly created role will report to the Adult Services Finance Business Partner and will line manage one Finance Analyst. The Finance Manager will serve as a key point of contact between the Adult Services operational teams and the Finance function. Key responsibilities include understanding and analysing financial performance, ensuring accurate accounting, producing annual budgets, and creating costing models to support new business initiatives. This role primarily covers the London, South East, and South West regions, encompassing approximately 30 services with an annual revenue of circa £22,000,000. While this is a home-based role with no regular travel required, there may be occasional opportunities to visit services for familiarization.

Experience
Knowledge and understanding of accounting rules and standards; experience in previous finance roles is valuable.

About you
Desirable qualifications include AAT, part-qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA, or equivalent. Consideration will also be given to candidates qualified by experience.

Qualifications
Relevant accounting qualifications or equivalent experience in finance roles.
