We're searching for a dynamic Finance Manager to spearhead financial excellence, provide insightful analysis, enhance efficiency, and ensure compliance at Stubble & Co. This pivotal role offers a diverse scope, encompassing both Financial Control and Business Intelligence & Reporting, and will directly report to Ben, our CEO. Financial Control • Leading the design, management and execution of the month end process. • Deliver timely and reliable monthly management accounts and financial reports including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow variance analysis from budget and, key performance trends. • Lead on preparation of the annual budget and forecasting models, coordinating inputs with the leadership team. • Ensure all financial processes and controls are administered and monitored on a continuous basis i.e. stock level controls, purchase order processes and supplier statement reconciliations. • Effectively manage cash and prepare robust cash flow forecasts. • Ensure thorough documentation of reporting processes, development of our control framework and ongoing evaluation and mitigation of risk. • Maintain, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures. • Preparation of statutory accounts working in conjunction with our external accountants. • Payroll and HMRC processing (with support). • VAT accounting. • Any other finance related tasks as requested by the CEO. Business Intelligence & Reporting • Your financial analysis and insights will be key in our decision-making across the whole business so your ability to draw commercial insight, present and be challenged is just as important as the technical know-how. • Weekly and Monthly standard report delivery i.e. performance against key KPIs, contribution per customer per market, product performance, channel performance etc. • Working with different functions in the business to improve performance as required, example projects could include performance marketing analytics, pricing and merchandising, stock analysis, sponsorship ROI calculations etc…. • Alongside standard reporting and strategic insights, this role will also support the weekly trading meetings and tactical activities through the use of performance data. • Any other business intelligence and reporting related tasks as requested by the CEO. Candidate Requirements: • 4+ years post qualified experience (ACA/ACCA/CIMA etc) • You have strong commercial acumen • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage relationships with individuals internally & externally to the business • Strong analytical, strategic and problem-solving skills • Good knowledge of accounting principles, processes and controls • Excellent attention to detail, with well structured working and strong prioritisation skills • You are comfortable in fast paced growth environments • Self-motivated and hard working
