Main duties of the job
Entry into the group is based on a two-year rotation, where new members are recruited on an annual basis.
The FLiI Group meets every six weeks
You must be committed to put in work outside of normal working hours
You will lead on and manage innovative projects across all Synnovis sites, developed around the Synnovis Way behaviours
Various training opportunities are offered including Presentation Skills and Leadership Skills
You must meet the qualifying criteria outlined in the following application form
You must have support from your Operations Manager / Line Manager and have successfully completed your probationary period

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

The FLiI strive to promote and encourage positive change throughout our organisation by nurturing talent and ultimately bringing ideas to life and making them happen. For individuals, the group provides a platform and an environment for developing new skills and networking across the organisation, in short, helping them to reach their full potential.
What sort of things do FLiI work on? The group have been the driving force behind the management and logistics of the Synnovis Connect event, which occurs annually. They’ve also led projects such as the Career Development Programme, CPD Lecture Series, and the Podcast Series.
What makes a great FLiI ? A good future leader is motivated, enthusiastic, ambitious, committed and forward thinking. Good communication skills, a passion for team working and a sense of humour are also a big help.
What’s the commitment? The group meets every six weeks; if successful you’ll have a two-year rotation with the group. You will however need to commit to doing some work outside of normal working hours..
We invite all Synnovis employees who are below ‘manager’ level (i.e. those at band 7 equivalent and under) who meet the criteria outlined in this advertisement, and have the support of their Operations Manager / Line Manager, to submit an application which includes a paragraph (up to 500 words) that describes what makes you a Future Leader.

You may also like to include your motivation to join us and how you believe you can contribute to the success of the group.
