This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Director’s Office that sits at the heart of Tate and comprises three teams, of which the Governance and Policy Team is the one that leads Tate through the effective development, coordination and delivery of Tate’s strategy, coordinates the process of corporate governance, leads on internal policy development and contributes to external policy and oversees areas of compliance, including Data Protection and Freedom of Information. You will be responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of Tate’s non-executive and executive decision-making processes and structures working into the Head of Governance on Tate’s contribution to external policy developments and contributing to Tate’s compliance with statutory matters, including Conflict of Interest and Good Governance. This role is also responsible for the management of the work of the Governance and Policy Coordinator supporting the effective delivery of Tate’s non-executive governance and executive decision-making process and structures, maintaining Tate’s internal policy framework, and contributing to policy issues and developments that affect Tate and the broader arts sector. Through participation in the Freedom of Information Group, this role also contributes to Tate’s management of freedom of information requests relating to governance and policy matters.
