Role: Graduate Finance Assistant - Entry Level with CIMA
Location: Hybrid working, up to 2 days a week in office. Birmingham, Holborn, Manchester, Woking, Glasgow

YOUR ROLE
This is an entry level finance position, which will be an ideal opportunity for a candidate looking to gain knowledge within a finance role, whilst gaining valuable experience within the technology sector.
You’ll study part-time for a professional accountancy qualification – whilst being able to put your new skills into practice in your day-to-day role
You’ll be in a supportive environment, with flexibility such as study leave to help you out

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Skills
You will need to be highly analytical and have good interpersonal skills
You will need to be self-motivated and have a passion for technology
Have the ability and willingness to travel to different offices and client sites
Be a team player, have good communications skills and be collaborative
Have ethics and integrity and an agile challenge mindset
Be able to solve problems & aid in decision making
Have a drive for continued personal development
Responsibilities
Month end tasks such as posting revenue, accruals and prepayments
Reviewing costs and preparing variance analysis with commentary
Raising invoices and credit notes
Preparing analysis for month end meetings
Supporting other team members in ad hoc tasks
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS FOR LEVEL 7
Lower-level accountancy or tax qualification
A degree
Or have related work experience
YOUR SECURITY CLEARANCE
To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks
There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required.
There are other criteria and check required for BPSS, and throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.

Note: You will have lived in the UK for the last five years with no more than 6 months out of the country (in order to meet security clearance requirements). You may be required to work away from home during the week after the initial training period.
