About the Role
McGinley Support Services is seeking PTS Rail Grinding Operatives to join our professional and safety-focused team for ongoing rail works across Kent and London, with immediate starts available. As a Rail Grinding Operative, you will play a key role in the safe upkeep of the rail network by operating and assisting with grinding equipment to restore rail profiles and remove defects. Your duties will include carrying out rail grinding tasks to improve track condition and extend rail life, working as part of a safety-critical team on live rail infrastructure, ensuring all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards, following instructions from supervisors and adhering to Network Rail safety procedures, preparing, operating, and maintaining grinding machinery and associated tools, and supporting the wider team with general track maintenance as required.

Experience
Previous experience in rail grinding operations is preferred

TR80 ticket
PTS (Personal Track Safety)
