Grounds Maintenance Operative – Watford Location: Watford Salary: £25494.48 Contract: Full-Time, Permanent (40 hours per week) About the Role Do you enjoy working outdoors and take pride in maintaining beautiful green spaces? Glendale is looking for a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our Commercial team in Watford. This is a great opportunity to develop your skills in horticulture while working in a supportive and professional environment. Key Responsibilities: ✔ Carry out grounds maintenance duties including mowing, strimming, blowing, hedge trimming, and general shrub bed maintenance ✔ Operate and maintain handheld machinery and other grounds maintenance equipment ✔ Assist with sports field line marking, hedge cutting, and hard surface spraying ✔ Work independently or as part of a team to ensure high standards are maintained ✔ Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times

Who We’re Looking For: ✅ Full, clean UK driving licence (experience driving light commercial vehicles & towing trailers desirable) ✅ Previous experience in grounds maintenance or horticultural work (desirable, but full training will be provided) ✅ Hardworking, reliable, and motivated with a can-do attitude ✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
