Location
Home based with regional travel expected to services within the area and some national travel on an ad-hoc basis.
Hours
Full Time - 35 hours per week
Salary
£65,000 - £70,000 per annum dependent on experience
About the Role
The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, challenge perceptions, and build a society that works for autistic people. We support individuals to understand their diagnosis and its impact on their lives and those around them. Our residential services provide accommodation and support for autistic adults 52 weeks a year, 24 hours a day in urban and rural settings. We also offer supported living services for autistic adults who need extra help to live independently. We are seeking an experienced manager for the role of Head of Adult Services - North England, a key senior leader within the Adult Services Directorate. This role holds full strategic and operational accountability through service managers for services across the North of England. You will support autistic people and those with learning disabilities to live fulfilling, independent lives, operating with a high degree of autonomy, managing risk, driving change, and ensuring excellence in service delivery. As a visible and values-led leader, you will lead local implementation of national strategy, ensure quality and regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of dignity, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
Experience
Proven experience in a managerial role within social care or related fields, with a focus on supporting autistic individuals and those with learning disabilities.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in social care, management, or related fields are preferred. A strong understanding of autism and learning disabilities is essential.
