This is an exciting opportunity to join our Homelessness, Independence and Preventative Services which adopts a preventative approach across housing, health, and social care agendas. With new dynamic leadership at its helm, the Housing Directorate is pursuing a mandate to be the best local housing authority delivering for its residents.

Experience
- Extensive knowledge and experience of the Housing Act 1996 (as amended) and the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017.
- Experience working with vulnerable people and leading multi-disciplinary housing teams.
- Proven track record in managing complex needs and diverse client groups.
- Extensive senior management experience in organisations of comparable scope and complexity.
- Experience in driving continuous improvement to deliver a first-class, modern, and flexible prevention-focused service.
- Skilled in leading, motivating and managing multi-disciplinary teams to achieve high standards and strategic objectives.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key partners and stakeholders.
- Critical thinker with innovative and creative problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing budgets, reviewing data, identifying trends and making informed decisions.
- Ability to travel independently around the Borough to meet professionals in community settings.
- Basic DBS check required.
