As a Cardiac Physiologist at our Bart's Hospital, you'll hold either a BTEC ONC and HNC in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement, or a BSc in Clinical Science /Physiology (or equivalent). You're currently registered with the RCCP as a Clinical Physiologist. Ideally, you're also accredited with SCST and BSE. You're flexible, motivated and a team player. The successful candidate will contribute to service provision specifically within invasive cardiology, specifically to support the growing electrophysiology and devices services, as well as supporting other interventional work and non-invasive cardiac investigations. An ability to work flexibly across different areas would be an advantage, however consideration will be given to exceptional candidates. As a Cardiac Physiologist, you will: Be part of the team doing great work in our Cardiac Unit Carry out echo cardiograms Provide clinical supervision in line with statutory requirements Maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with professional, statutory and organisational guidelines Applicants will ideally be competent in non-invasive & invasive cardiac including: Non-invasive Cardiology investigations; ECG, ETT, Holter Cardiac Device follow up Invasive Cardiology; PCI, Cardiac Device implants, Structural heart interventions and specifically both Cyro and RF ablation St Bartholomew's Hospital: The City of London's only independent hospital, situated next to St Bartholomew's NHS hospital. This will be our flagship centre for cardiac services and will also provide a full range of surgical and medical services, including: orthopaedics, oncology, general surgery, gynaecology and urology services. The new hospital will consist of: 48 inpatient and day case bedrooms 28 consultation rooms Three digital operating theatres Cardiac catheterisation lab Specialist intensive care beds Oncology day unit Endoscopy and minor ops theatre Full diagnostic imaging suite including MRI, CT, ultrasound, mammography and general X-ray Helping you feel good.
