Join Our Team as an Hostel Activities and Engagement Co-ordinator at Camden CGL
We are seeking a dynamic and inclusive Hostel Activities and Engagement Co-ordinator to join our team and help plan, develop, and maintain a comprehensive schedule of positive activities within a hostel setting.
Our Camden service thrives as a dynamic and collaborative team, featuring dedicated staff including a service manager, consultant psychiatrists and psychologists, medical professionals, caring nurses, empathetic recovery staff, dedicated volunteers, efficient administrators, and supportive peer mentors.
Location: Camden
Hours: Full time - 37.5 per week
Full time Salary: £27,449.53 - £31,529.41 pro rata (dependent on experience)
Allowances: £4,072.06 Inner London Weighting, Pro Rata

About the Role
As a Hostel Activities and Engagement Co-ordinator, you will:
Collaborate with Service Users: Use input from service users to plan, develop, and maintain a diverse schedule of activities that enhance their wellbeing and engagement with support services.
Assess Needs and Interests: Evaluate the needs and interests of individuals and groups to plan and coordinate appropriate activities.
Promote and Record Activities: Promote activities, contribute to promotional literature, and maintain accurate records of attendance.
Flexible Approach: Be adaptable and flexible in your approach to meet the changing needs and preferences of those accessing our services.
Resilience: Demonstrate resilience in overcoming challenges and staying focused on the goal of improving service users' lives.
What We're Looking For
Experience: Demonstrated experience in planning and coordinating enrichment activities in healthcare or social services settings.
Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to effectively engage with service users, staff, and external stakeholders.
Multi-tasking Ability: Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks while ensuring the safety and welfare of all individuals involved.
Commitment: A commitment to maintaining health and safety standards and promoting community integration.
Flexibility: Willingness to be flexible and adaptable in your approach to meet the diverse needs of of those accessing treatment.
