About the Role
The Faculty of A levels and Science is seeking to appoint an A-level teacher in History and Politics. The ability to offer Sociology would be an advantage. The successful candidate will deliver teaching aligned with the current A level curriculum and contribute positively to the team environment. You will also act as a personal tutor to groups of students, supporting them through their academic journey including UCAS procedures.

Experience
Familiarity with the current A level curriculum is essential. Experience acting as a personal tutor and knowledge of the UCAS procedure is desirable. We welcome applications from teachers with a broad range of disciplines.

You will have sound organisational skills and the ability to work cooperatively within a team. Excellent communication, administration, and interpersonal skills are essential. A commitment to contributing positively and creatively to the team is required.

Qualifications
A degree or equivalent in a related area is required. You must possess a recognised Level 4 teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd) or be willing to work towards a Level 5 teaching qualification upon appointment.
