About the Role
The Faculty of Health, Well-being and Care invites applications for a suitably qualified and experienced Lecturer in Uniformed Public Services. This role involves tutoring and course management of Level 1, 2, or 3 vocational programmes, as well as teaching across all programmes within the Public Services (Policing) discipline.
The successful candidate will contribute to delivering high-quality education, supporting learners’ development, and managing course delivery effectively. You will work collaboratively within a team to provide a unique, enjoyable, and rewarding learning experience that meets the needs and aspirations of a diverse learner group.
Experience
Experience in teaching or tutoring vocational programmes in Public Services or related fields is desirable. Familiarity with the current BTEC and NCFE curriculum is essential. We welcome applicants with a broad range of practical and theoretical expertise.
About you
You will have strong organisational skills and the ability to work cooperatively and creatively within a team environment. Excellent communication, administration, and interpersonal skills are essential. A commitment to supporting learners and contributing positively to the faculty is required.
Qualifications
A degree or equivalent qualification in a related area is required.
A recognised Level 4 teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd) is essential or willingness to work towards a Level 5 teaching qualification upon appointment.
