About the Role
The HR Business Partner will be an enthusiastic and highly efficient, organised professional capable of working as part of a team and managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. You will mentor and coach managers in the application of HR policies and practices, providing advice, support, and guidance on a full range of standard and complex employee relations and casework, with a strong focus on improving performance management.

You will proactively intervene at an informal level and deliver training and support to managers to foster a performance management culture. Working closely with managers, you will track and maintain the staffing establishment and support effective workforce planning, considering changing curriculum delivery needs. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing new processes and systems, reviewing and improving standard letters, forms, and checklists related to employee relations and recruitment, ensuring high standards of service delivery and quality.

Requirements

Experience
- Extensive experience in a Senior HR Generalist role
- Proven track record managing employee relations casework with minimal supervision
- Experience consulting with trade unions or employee representatives on individual casework
- Extensive experience advising and mentoring stakeholders and line managers on HR policies and procedures

About you
- Ability to interpret employment legislation and effectively advise line managers on its implications
- Strong communication skills, able to convey information clearly and confidently to diverse audiences both orally and in writing
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workloads effectively
- Highly organised, proactive, and able to work collaboratively within a team environment

Qualifications
- Graduate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD)
