The role is primarily focused on supporting the CyEm team international engagement priorities and delivery plan whilst remaining flexible to help facilitate CyEm governance and other CyEm team/ICE-D issues as priorities change and capacity allows. The post holders' responsibilities are varied but will include: Some of your responsibilities will include: Ensuring coherence of international cyber engagement activity across the different components of Strategic Command and Head Office. Tracking international cyber engagements across UK Strategic Command and wider defence. Preparing ICE-D and Defence leadership for international engagement meetings including bilateral, panel discussions and working groups. Identifying international engagement priorities and opportunities for Strategic Command, ensuring coherency across Defence. Support with the organisation and management of several 1* working and 3* steering groups, including the development of agendas for each meeting and taking minutes and recording actions agreed in the meetings. ensuring stakeholders are sufficiently briefed and prepared in advance. Support wider ICE-D activities which may include support to a range of projects, leading engagement with senior stakeholders and helping support the internal development of ICE-D. This is not a technical role and you do not need any special knowledge of cyber security, though an interest will help. An ability to develop and apply technical knowledge may be an advantage, however, the MOD will offer training and support to help you in this role.
