Innovation Delivery Officer - Fundraising Location: Hybrid working with travel to 44 Moorfields, Finsbury, London, EC2Y 9AL at least once a week Contract: 6-month Fixed Term Contract Hours:35 per week Salary: £35,514 per annum pro-rata We have the opportunity an Innovation Delivery Officer in our Innovation Delivery team. The role will support the delivery of the Fundraising Innovation portfolio including the following innovation projects: 'Give Cash', 'Next Generation Philanthropists', 'Donate Crypto' and 'Power Shifts'. This is an opportunity to for someone to harness existing campaign delivery experience and product development skills in an innovative, 'at pace' environment; using a test and learn, supporter-first approach, to develop sector leading fundraising products and drive innovation at British Red Cross. This role will help us future proof our fundraising by building, testing, and scaling new fundraising products that bring in new supporters and raise multi-million pounds per year; ultimately helping us meet the needs of vulnerable people in the future. A day in the life of an Innovation Delivery Officer will include: Working with the team to deliver key fundraising innovation offers and priorities such as design sprints, marketing and testing MVPs and research on early-stage concepts. Driving the development and delivery of innovation priorities through core innovation practises: insight gathering, insight synthesis, ideation, prioritisation and decision-making frameworks, prototyping, and early-stage product testing. Help other Fundraising teams deliver and test innovative solutions. Coach other fundraising teams in how to gain and identify supporter insight, reach strategic goals and fundraising targets; ensuring a supporter-first approach is taken and cross collaboration occurs. Promoting innovative ways of working in FRSE; supporting other teams to embrace a test and learn approach to working. Enabling the handover of successful innovation products into BAU teams. Communicating audience insight, market analysis, innovation and technology updates to the team and the wider organisation, so that they share a strong and empathetic understanding of their audiences and the environments they operate in. This includes presentations, newsletters, team updates and business cases. To be a successful Innovation delivery Officer, you'll need: Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, communication, presentation skills. Demonstrable knowledge, experience, and passion for audience-led design practices. Proven record of innovation, marketing, new product / service development, or delivering audience-led propositions in a range of contexts. Diplomacy; successfully negotiating large, complex organisations. Demonstrable experience of iterative project management in various environments, ideally having played a role in designing/embedding new ways of working. Experience of copy writing, developing or cocreating digital, print, video, or visual content for products Experience managing fast-paced, dynamic and/or ambiguous projects.
