What You’ll do (the role) Summary The Summer Internship Program is Twelve weeks long and will run from June 3rd through August 23rd, 2024. Interns will be paid £13.15/hr. Ideally the trainee will be based in London with the possibility to go to our office at least 2 days per week. The intern will be part of the Lsbp Engineering Centre of Excellence. He/She will join a diverse and dynamic team who support the existing global solar portfolio. Duties & responsibilities The candidate will be responsible for the elements involved in the analysis of operational data across a range of Projects, in compliance with the following main responsibilities: Support PV performance analysis of production data. Conduct Engineering analysis of new technologies. Support on the different innovation projects and performance improvement evaluation. Who we're looking for Qualifications Knowledge or experience of renewable energy, particularly solar PV. Basic understanding of the main factors affecting PV site performance. Skills in Excel or other data analysis software (Python, R, PowerBI) Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree at an accredited college/University in Engineering (Electrical/Renewables Engineering preferred). Experience Advanced knowledge in Microsoft office tools. Personal qualities/Work Skills Ability to practically apply engineering concepts. Attention to detail. A passion for problem solving and analytics. Self-motivated. A quantitative mind-set. Fluency in written and spoken English.
