Job Title: Internal Auditor Hours: 35 Location: Hybrid Working from home with regular travel to services.Ideally you should be based in the Midlands. Salary: £40,000 Key Purpose of the role: To provide independent and objective audits, assessments & inspections across United Response’s portfolio of services, ensuring that our services are safe, effective, caring, responsive & well led. To ensure that our services are compliant with relevant regulations and standards such as those imposed by CQC, CIW, Ofsted, housing regulators and our commissioners. Essential Criteria: Knowledge and experience of working within an audit / assurance function Knowledge and experience of working within adult specialist social care Knowledge and understanding of relevant regulatory requirements, including but not limited to CQC, CIW, Ofsted and housing regulators Knowledge of quality monitoring methods used by Local Authorities Meticulous attention to detail Passion for service improvements Strong communication and ability to support managers in improving service delivery Ability to work independently, but also to work well as part of a team Ability to organise time effectively, demonstrating flexibility in meeting changing priorities Proficiency in the use of technology and digital systems Ability to build rapport quickly and establish professional relationships based on trust and understanding Ability to work personably whilst able to hold individuals and teams to account when issues and concerns are identified, and remedial action is required.
