Reporting to the Head of International Strategy and working closely with the Senior International Adviser, you will ensure that all aspects of Historic England’s international work, including implementation of the UK obligations under the World Heritage Convention, are effectively delivered. You will help maintain and develop a robust and progressive position on relevant international policy areas and respond persuasively to policy proposals from others.
As International Project Adviser, you will develop and maintain a strategic overview of our international engagement and contribute to the delivery of Historic England’s Global Agenda and relevant Government objectives.
Experience
Proven organisational and project management skills, particularly the ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.

Graduate level education or equivalent experience in the cultural sector.
Ability to engage confidently with a wide range of people at all levels.
Self-motivated and driven.
Ability to cope with periods of high pressure and meet tight deadlines.
