The opportunity
Are you an enthusiastic IT Support Analyst looking to provide 2nd line support in a large and complex technical environment?
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated IT desktop support analyst (known at the University as IT Support Analyst) to join our IT Services Division.
With a can-do attitude, you'll play a vital role in supporting users both remotely and desk-side, with most of your work being escalated from our IT Service Desk. You'll support both staff and student computers providing a quick response to standard day-to-day issues and requests for hardware and software, as well as engaging with project work such as our desktop replacement program.
This role will suit an experienced analyst looking to expand their skill set within a large environment and will include the support of both Mac and Windows technologies.
Though you'll be based at our Elephant & Castle campus, occasional travel to other UAL sites may be required.
About you
Your profile should include:
• Experience with Windows and/or Mac hardware maintenance and fault-finding on desktops, laptops and printers
• Ability in deploying, configuring and managing Mac OSX or Windows 10/11
• Experience of supporting MS Office/Active Directory/Azure/Mobile Devices
• Adaptability and flexibility to work at various University sites across London
Knowledge of networking technologies, both wired and wireless, helpdesk / service desk call logging / service management software and experience with ITIL would be advantageous. Exposure to enterprise tools such as JamfPro and In-Tune or ZenWorks would be beneficial.
