Our Head Office Property Department is strengthening their team and is looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and analytical person, determined to build a career in a challenging international environment, to join the Property Data & Analysis Team as a Junior Consultant. You will help turn out expansion plans into reality! For the successful candidate, this is an ideal opportunity to join a fast-paced team at the forefront of our company’s ambitious development & portfolio management plans, in a position which offers both responsibility and variety. The role has the potential to create a long-lasting impact across the business, building & implementing the infrastructure for efficient real-time reporting & analysis to influence key strategic decision making. What you'll do Working at a national strategic level to drive forward our expansion & portfolio management plans Regular and Ad Hoc reporting on Strategy, Profitability, ROIs, Turnover, Competitors etc Creating property-specific data analysis and presentations for the UK & International Boards Power BI dashboard development and GIS (Geographical Information System) analysis Providing quality assurance and training for all our in-house property systems, as well as bug-fixing, testing and managing system roll-outs Providing support to Regional Property Offices on systems and procedures Being the main contact anchor between Lidl International, Head Office, Regional Property Offices and other Lidl departments (regular liaison with all parties & levels) Data plausibility checks (investigating quality & accuracy) and pursuing queries with Lidl International and Regional Property Offices Building tools to support and streamline across the entire Property department Understanding the company’s ‘bigger picture’ and the property role within the organisation as a whole What you'll need Degree educated (2:2) in any discipline is desirable Knowledge of the German language beneficial but not essential Excellent communication skills at all levels of the business Confident in supporting executive management Passion for working with numbers, data analysis tools and excellent attention to detail A self-motivated and proactive individual with a can-do attitude, and the ability to work on projects and solve problems independently Ability to work autonomously, and also as part of a team, to tight deadlines while delivering accurate results Good Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel) What you'll receive 35 days holiday (pro rata) 10% in-store discount Sabbatical Enhanced family leave Pension scheme Plus, more of the perks you deserve Disclaimer: due to the high volume of applications we receive, we reserve the right to close a vacancy earlier than the advertised date.
