This is a high priority Programme with Government Major Project Portfolio Status (GMPP). The Lead Data Engineer will work closely with technical delivery partners to deliver Investigation, Detection & Risking System (IDRS) as a live service and to continue to expand the capability post go-live.The role will initially focus on the optimisation of data products and flows to deliver the IDRS service. Post go-live you will lead the development of the data pipeline to enable automated risking services to deliver cases to our end-users, developing solutions to enable analytics use cases for 350 analysts and progress our data profiling activities, working with a broad range of SME’s and analysts to understand the data we receive/create. You will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing these components, actioning change requests and resolving incidents as they occur. This role, alongside other G7 technical leads, will also provide community leadership and technical expertise to other Data Engineers to ensure that they have the right level of skills for the role.You will report to a dedicated People Manager & Work Manager in RIS Analysis CREST but will be required to work closely with external suppliers and stakeholders across CCG and CDIO to ensure optimum service outcomes.
