You'll be working across both Product and Technology: Kaluza's Product community: A group of Product Managers and Leaders focused on translating complex needs into simple and innovative solutions that solve real customer and business problems. Kaluza's Technology community: A large team of both data-led and product focused Software and Production Engineers, pushing the boundaries of technology and working at an extraordinary scale. You'll be working across both Kaluza's Energy Retail Platform and Kaluza's Flexibility Platform, "Flex". Kaluza's Energy Retail platform: This is a SaaS technology platform that aims to revolutionise the operating platforms for energy retailers globally. This platform has been built with scale and technical quality in mind and is the foundation for decarbonisation efforts by Kaluza's customers. Flex: Designed to be the nervous system connecting energy retailers, grid operators, and consumers, Flex will aid us in creating the distributed, consumer-centric, dynamic energy system of the future. Bridging the gap between distributed renewable generation and smart devices, it helps consumers shift their energy consumption to times when there's more renewable energy. This not only saves them money, but enables society as a whole to meet the challenge of decarbonising transport and residential heating/cooling. We're also supporting this vital shift by building the innovative technology behind unique, market-leading customer propositions like Vehicle to Grid and Drive Anytime Energy Plan with our energy retailer partners. What will I be doing Our mission is to accelerate time-to-value through increased agility, lead our teams to deliver as effectively as possible and drive successful roadmap execution. We are a tight-knit, collaborative team within a dynamic organisation that is expanding, now encompassing around 50 teams. We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Lead Delivery Manager to own and drive the timely and successful execution of our product and technology roadmaps. In this pivotal role, you may provide leadership and direction to a team of delivery managers, ensuring operational excellence across your areas of oversight. You will partner with leadership functions in Product, Engineering, UX and Client Delivery to support the delivery of strategic goals and to provide confidence around what we're able to deliver further ahead. Role responsibilities: Drive Roadmap Delivery Success: Management and optimisation of capacity plans, tracking actuals vs estimates. Tracking and reporting of initiatives milestones and deliverables. Management and resolution of dependencies across teams to ensure smooth progress and prevent delays. Lead the Product & Tech roadmap Delivery in your area. Responsible to ensure that Delivery standards are followed within your area: Ensure Transparent Reporting: Guarantee that clear and transparent reporting is consistently available to stakeholders and clients. Proactively escalate issues and risks, championing effective collaboration and decision-making with senior leadership. Align with Client Expectations: Collaborate with the Client Delivery leadership to ensure deliverables meet client capabilities, support needs, and timelines. Ensure that client feedback is integrated into the delivery process. Clarity on Teams' Effort Distribution: Drive analysis of effort distribution, ensuring that team efforts are aligned with strategic priorities. Facilitate data-driven decisions by ensuring delivery information reaches the right stakeholders, and maintain a strong effort-to-value ratio in your area. Manage and develop local Delivery Managers: Set objectives and provide focus and clarity to the Delivery Managers in your area. Support your team to navigate complexity & uncertainty. Bias towards focusing our efforts on the goals of Kaluza and our client commitments. Improve effectiveness of the Delivery capability in your area. Upskill the team through mentoring and coaching, and showing the team what good looks like. Boost Organisational Effectiveness: Establish and refine ways of working to foster a scalable and adaptable Product & Tech organisation. Implement Agile & Lean processes and tools that enhance efficiency and productivity. Act as a change driver and promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning. Enable Product and Tech to Focus on their Core Strengths: Eliminate barriers hindering Product teams from dedicating time to innovation and strategic planning. Allow Engineering teams to concentrate on technical excellence and execution. Supporting the HoD on achieving the Delivery function strategy & goals. Is this the job for me? You should be an experienced Delivery Manager with a successful track record: Able to lead the end-to-end delivery of digital/technology products using Agile methodologies across cross-functional product teams. Excellent understanding of product development process and software development life cycle. Experienced in leading Delivery teams, line-managing and developing people. Able to build strong relationships and be a trusted partner across Product & Engineering leadership. Able to influence senior leadership across the organisation. Strong coaching abilities to empower teams and colleagues to reach their full potential. Comfortable switching between team-level detail and executive-level overviews. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities. Able to draw on experience to apply the right approach in the right context. Comfortable with uncertainty and adept at bringing people along on a change journey. Worked in scaling a high-growth SaaS business. Apply customer centricity on the way that you work.
