About this role…
We are looking for a Lead Manager to join the Hammersmith and Fulham Outreach and Housing First team.
The Thames Reach Outreach teams operate across London and help those who are rough sleeping to find routes away from the street. The teams respond rapidly and work flexibly to reach people. Individuals are assessed to identify their support needs and support plans are created, including work to obtain identification, access health services and refer to other specialist agencies, including those offering immigration support.
You will:
.Manage the service’s performance against its contract, monitoring and regularly reporting to funders on performance in meeting targets.
.Be responsible for directly managing a Team through .Supervisions, Appraisals and Case Management to coach and develop staff practice and performance
.Oversee both an outreach function and housing first support, ensuring best practice on casework as well as health and safety standards
.Work closely with commissioners, council employees and partner agencies to support the reduction of rough sleeping in the borough.
The team is supported by a large number of volunteers alongside partner agencies such as drug & alcohol support agencies; local enforcement teams; housing providers and mental health support services. You’ll take the lead in developing and managing these partnerships, forming positive relationships with key stakeholders and working with the borough to increase and improve options for rough sleeping clients.
To succeed as the Lead Manager, you will have:

.Organised and able to organise the operations of a complex, busy service.
.A decisive and effective leader.
.An excellent communicator able to form and maintain effective working relationships with our funders, housing providers, drug and alcohol teams and local community groups who are providing a service to rough sleepers..
.Experience in recognising and confidently talking about best practises and its results to funders and other stakeholders.
.Experience in directly managing and supporting staff, overseeing the management of others and ensuring the services finances are well managed.
.Confident in working with enforcement agencies such as the Police and local authority civil enforcement teams and be able to speak to others about the benefits of this joint working approach.
