We are seeking a Learning and Development Coordinator to play a key role in fostering a culture of continuous professional growth within the college. In this role, you will lead the planning, delivery, and evaluation of diverse training and development opportunities for staff. You will manage the Learning Passport system to track and record progress, oversee external training requests, learning agreements, and the college’s L&D budget.

A significant part of your responsibilities will include delivering engaging training sessions such as staff induction and mandatory training, as well as contributing to CPD days and development programmes. Working closely with colleagues in HR, Performance & Quality, and EDI & Wellbeing, you will ensure that staff learning and development aligns with college priorities, supports compliance, and drives continuous improvement.

Requirements

Experience
Proven experience coordinating and delivering impactful learning and development initiatives. Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels and manage multiple projects with strong organisational skills. Experience in education or further education is advantageous but not essential.

About you
You are passionate about making learning accessible and meaningful. You have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and are able to work collaboratively across teams to support staff development aligned with organisational priorities.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications in Learning and Development or Human Resources would be beneficial but are not mandatory. What matters most is your ability to coordinate and deliver effective training and development programmes.
