Description
The Learning Content Designer: RPP is responsible for designing and delivering high quality learning in the form of F2F, virtual, e-Learning, pdfs, workbooks, media scripts and other learning content on a large variety of subjects and will support the rest of the team to create impactful and engaging learning solutions. They will predominantly be aligned to the RPP contract and will also embed with that team converting F2F training and existing digital learning into engaging, innovative and powerful learning experiences. You will be delivering training, equipping staff with knowledge, skills and motivation to carry out their role effectively whilst also encouraging individuals to be curious and accountable for their own self development. As part of the compliance with the Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT) you will also be responsible for assuring the training delivery for those attending Train-the-Trainer courses. This role is key within of one of the UK's largest and most diverse recruiting operations. This role will involve regular travel to Bovingdon in Hertfordshire What you'll be doing: • Establish a trusting relationship with clients and understand their business, their requirements, and the bigger picture. • Define and articulate the content design to your client and to the internal production team. • Conducting onsite meetings with the client in Bovingdon, Herts • Specify how any digital solutions will work - from structure to scope, visual look and feel and functionality. • Design, content map and script solutions that deliver on the client's brief and are achievable within time, technology, and budget. • Create content using a range of authoring tools, templates, re-usable assets and bespoke elements to meet learning content design requirements. • Take responsibility for, and champion, your designs throughout the whole life of the project, working in collaboration with colleagues from the graphical, technical and project management teams. What we're looking for: • Experience in delivering training for process, systems and soft skills • The ability to flex your writing style to meet client, audience and modality requirements. • Proven ability to understand, and structure, complex content quickly. • The ability to combine attention to detail with a clear writing style and real creative flair. • Confident client-facing communication, listening, persuasion and presentation skills. • Flexible and resourceful problem solving - able to tackle setbacks and obstacles. • Strong visual awareness and interest in visual communication. • Proficient use of a minimum of two learning authoring tools. • Ideally TAP, CIPD or equivalent qualification or design specific qualification • Knowledge of Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT) or equivalent • Happy to travel to client site About Capita Learning: Capita Learning is a leader in Learning and Development Transformation.
