As a Lecturer in Electrical Installation, you will coordinate the effective delivery of the Electrical Installation study programmes across various levels, providing academic leadership for students and creating an engaging curriculum.
Experience
Experience in Electrical Installations and/or teaching is preferable. Candidates should have a firm understanding of current electrical practice and preferably extensive industry experience.
About you
The successful candidate must have a Level 3 electrical installation qualification or NVQ at level 3. You should possess excellent communication skills to explain complex issues clearly, be highly organized, and have the ability to manage specialist projects with attention to detail. Experience in motivating, developing, and managing the performance of learners is essential.
Qualifications
Must have a Level 3 electrical installation qualification (E). NICEIC registration (D). Maths and English to level 4 GCSE or equivalent (E). Assessors Qualification (D). Teaching qualification Level 3 (D). Willingness to work towards a recognized Level 4 teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd) or Level 5 upon appointment.
