About the Role
The University of Roehampton is recruiting a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Clinical Neuroscience to join the School of Life and Health Sciences. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the expansion of biomedical science education within a rapidly growing school. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching and research, inspiring the next generation of biomedical and clinical scientists. Alongside neuroscience, applicants with expertise in pharmacology and core biomedical science modules at undergraduate and postgraduate levels are particularly welcome. The role involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver biomedical science education, supporting a positive, collaborative, and inclusive academic community.

Key responsibilities include leading education development and delivery, ensuring compliance with university and PSRB regulations and quality processes, and designing and contributing to teaching and learning activities across life sciences and healthcare programmes. Experience in immunology and toxicology is desirable to enhance the biomedical and neuroscience curriculum.

The School of Life and Health Sciences offers specialist facilities including scientific laboratories, bioinformatics, and OMICS facilities, supporting a strong commitment to student success and societal impact. Requirements

Experience
Extensive experience in higher education with an established research profile is required. Experience in neuroscience, pharmacology, immunology, or toxicology is desirable. Proven ability to contribute to teaching and curriculum development at undergraduate and postgraduate levels is essential.
