About the Role
The University of Roehampton is recruiting for a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Nutrition and Dietetics to join the School of Life and Health Sciences. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the expansion of our nutrition and dietetics provision within a rapidly growing school that offers biomedical, nutrition, and healthcare education. The successful candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering high-quality education supported by specialist scientific laboratories, including nutrition suite, bioinformatics, and OMICS facilities.

We seek candidates with experience in higher education and/or clinical nutrition practice, holding an established research and/or professional profile as a registered nutritionist. The role involves a strong commitment to high-quality teaching, professional training, and the development of inspiring, future-focused curricula that prepare the next generation of dietitians and nutrition professionals.

Key responsibilities include leading the development, delivery, and integration of innovative, research-informed teaching and practical training in nutrition and dietetics across the programme portfolio. The role also involves taking a professional lead to ensure compliance with university and PSRB regulations and contributing to the design, delivery, and review of modules and curricula. Experience in applying nutrition to diverse contexts such as sport and exercise is desirable to enrich the educational offer.

Requirements

Experience
Experience in higher education and/or clinical nutrition practice is required. Candidates should have an established research and/or professional profile as a registered nutritionist.
