Title: Ledgers Assistant Contract Type: Temp to Perm, Full Time 35 hours per week Location: West Ham Lane, Stratford or Sale Point, Manchester Persona: Agile Working Salary: £27,582 per annum Closing date for completed applications: 26th September 2024 at 11:59 pm *The selection process will consist of a competency based interview and Excel test. **Early applications are encouraged as we reserve the right to close the advertisement and interview earlier than stated L&Q are looking for an all-round Ledgers Assistant with experience in Accounts Payable, Receivable and Cashiering. The successful candidate will report to the Ledgers Team Leader and be responsible for a combination of tasks such as processing utility bills, supplier statement reconciliation, the setup of new supplier accounts, generate sales invoices and process bank transactions. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced role, working to tight deadlines whilst delivering outstanding customer service. You must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The Ledgers Assistant role requires someone with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills as you will be expected to develop working relationships with internal and external customers. Skills and experience required for this role are as follows: Be experienced in Accounts Payable, Receivable & Cashiering Experienced in using Outlook, Word & Excel (Intermediate) Be an excellent communicator with a track record of working with stakeholders. Ability to multitask and reprioritise during the day Open Accounts knowledge (desirable) Qualification at least AAT Level 2 or higher Please note this role requires the candidate to have a recognised accountancy qualification, be part-qualified or be willing to start training if relevant experience can be demonstrated.
