Elmbridge Borough Council is seeking a Legal Officer (Contracts/Generalist) to join our progressive Legal Services team. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality legal advice across contracts, procurement, partnerships, and broader local government matters. Your responsibilities will include advising on contracts, procurement, redevelopment projects, and grant agreements; drafting and reviewing legal documents with precision and clarity; supporting Information Governance and compliance with FOI, EIR, and Data Protection legislation; attending committee meetings and representing the Council in legal forums; and collaborating with a dynamic team to deliver effective legal solutions.
Experience
- Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Chartered Legal Executive.
- Experience in contract and procurement law, ideally within a local government setting.

Qualifications
