About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Lettings Team as a Lettings Officer on a fixed term contract until the end of April 2026. In this role, you will ensure the effective delivery of the allocations and lettings process, managing property allocations including Special Projects Move On, floating support, and Local Authority nominations in line with our policies and procedures.

Your key responsibilities will include building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Sovereign Network Group supported housing managers, scheme managers, voluntary sector organisations, and Local Authority staff. You will arrange and undertake property viewings, complete new tenant sign ups, create and end tenancies and rent accounts, and manage void keys.

Additional duties involve processing mutual exchange applications and management transfer requests within required timescales, managing the choice-based lettings process including advertising properties, managing shortlists, and keeping residents informed. You will also liaise with other landlords and local authorities throughout the lettings process and assist with completing lettings and supporting people returns to local authorities.

Experience
- Experience managing a lettings service and operating within a choice-based lettings framework
- Experience arranging and managing decanting processes
- Proven track record in service improvement and managing change
- Good knowledge of IT systems including Word, Excel, and Outlook
