The role:
Our Technical, Production and Costume Department plays a leading part in ensuring our performances are of the highest quality by delivering technical excellence for every performance, rehearsal, and event.
We are now seeking to recruit a Lighting Control & Visualisation Senior Technician. This role will work to a consistently high standard on the day to day running of rehearsals/show/plotting sessions, participate in the maintenance of the lighting control and its associated equipment and operate and plot shows for in-house and visiting lighting designers.
What you`ll bring:
This role will suit a candidate who has strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working. You will also be able to demonstrate:
An excellent track record in lighting board control, current experience is essential.
The ability to use the lighting board to help create and recreate original lighting for Royal Opera House productions to the highest artistic and technical standards in house, at outside venues and on tour or on hire.
Good understanding of Vectorworks and Visualisation Software.
Strong awareness of and adherence to Health and Safety policy and best practice.
Ability to work unsupervised and show initiative in dealing with day-to-day problems
