About the Role
Join Synnovis, the UK’s leading and fastest growing pathology partnership, working alongside Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospitals, King’s College Hospital, and Princess Royal University Hospital. We are seeking a dynamic Beaker LIMS Analyst to support the delivery and ongoing operation of the Epic Beaker LIMS, middleware, and other systems for the South East London Pathology Service. You will collaborate with operational, clinical, and IT teams across Synnovis and partner Trusts to deliver and maintain a robust, world-leading Pathology IT system.
Synnovis is redefining pathology services by combining clinical excellence, innovative science, and operational expertise to improve healthcare outcomes. You will be part of a dedicated team implementing, managing, and optimising Beaker across SEL Pathology laboratories, working closely with clinicians and IT professionals.

The role involves contributing to the modernisation of pathology services, including the move to a state-of-the-art Hub laboratory in central London, while maintaining essential services across hospital sites focusing on rapid turnaround of urgent tests.
Experience
- Proven expertise in LIMS management within a complex healthcare environment.
- Experience in one or more pathology disciplines.
- Understanding of analyser and laboratory equipment interfaces with LIMS.
- Knowledge of clinical and operational workflows in pathology and hospital departments.
- Experience in pathology workflow design, documentation, and clinical/operational reporting.
- Awareness of data quality implications on clinical safety and governance.
- Good understanding of information governance and security.
- Advanced IT skills including Microsoft Office.
Desirable Experience
- Management of LIMS implementation.
- HL7 knowledge.
- Business analysis skills including requirements gathering and process mapping.
- Systems integration experience.
- Order communications experience.
- IT networking and infrastructure support.
Qualifications
- Educated to degree level in a relevant subject (essential).
- Master’s Degree in Biomedical Science (desirable).
- Epic Certification, accreditation or proficiency (desirable).
