The role – New Homes Officer As New Homes Officer you will ensure successful delivery and handover of all new homes. Providing excellent customer service to all new homeowners, managing defects, snagging and site inspections, home user guides, client and video inductions, settling in visits and new scheme administration. Ensuring all new homeowners have a smooth transition into their new home. What you’ll do You will Act as the main point of contact for any for after sales issues and defects being reported in the first 12 months of occupation Attend benchmark snagging, handover and end of defects inspections for all new schemes in liaison with the project manager. Work with Sales team to advise on system and process improvements to ensure the Sales Customer Journey is supported into management and deliver these improvements with support from the wider business. Establish collection of homeowner/resident satisfaction survey data on all new schemes, using it to improve our service Work with Neighbourhoods and Lettings to set up a moving in strategy for all new developments, including access, refuse removal and unloading. Skills and experience we'd like you to have We’re looking for someone who has: A strong work ethic and an excellent telephone manner with exceptional communication and organisational skills. A sound proactive approach to work stream management A good knowledge of IT skills. Previous After Sales experience within the construction or a similar industry would be advantageous but full training would be provided. Any previous customer service or administration experience would also be beneficial.
