Role: Senior Practitioner – Assessment Centres
Salary: £36,717 per annum
Hours: 37.5 per week (8pm – 6am with shifts outside these times occasionally)
Location: Lambeth & City of London

Thames Reach runs projects and services that help to end homelessness in London. We work directly with homeless people on the streets and in hostels. We work to prevent vulnerable people from becoming homeless. We help formerly homeless people get their lives back on track. We help people find work and access training and volunteering opportunities.

About this role…
We are looking for a Night Senior Practitioner to join our Assessment Centre teams across Lambeth, City of London and Hackney.
You will:
.Be responsible for directly managing three teams of night staff across Lambeth and the City of London
.Report incidents to Senior Management and Commissioners and ensure staff are aware of and working to health and safety guidelines
.Foster a culture of high performance and continual striving to improve upon successes throughout your team
.Develop and ensure that Thames Reach policies and best practice are in place
.Liaise with Senior Management across the services to ensure a cohesive and consistent approach from day to night shifts.
To succeed as the Night Senior Practitioner to you will have/be:

.Experience in directly managing staff, overseeing the management of others and ensuring the services are well managed at night
.An excellent communicator able to form and maintain effective working relationships with all partners and colleagues
.A decisive and effective leader, able to work both autonomously and as part of a wider management team
.Excellent IT skills
.Please note this role is majority night based work.
