About the Role
Join Thames Reach as a Night Support Worker at Martha Jones House, where your understanding, compassion, and commitment will make a real difference to people experiencing street homelessness. Thames Reach operates projects and services across London to prevent homelessness, support those currently homeless, and help formerly homeless people rebuild their lives. Our hostels provide transitional spaces with 24-hour staff teams who support residents to move in, assess their needs, and develop personalised support plans. These plans address health, substance misuse, criminal justice, and life skills to prepare clients for their next steps.
As a Night Support Worker, you will contribute to effective day-to-day service delivery, conduct risk and needs assessments, and develop move-on plans with clients. You will liaise with external agencies and councils to ensure clients receive appropriate support, increase client engagement, and help clients move on within set timeframes. You will also ensure the environment is safe, healthy, and aligned with our ethos, fostering a culture of high performance and continual improvement for yourself and the team.
Thames Reach is proud to be listed among the top 100 Best Workplaces in the UK, offering a supportive and rewarding environment to develop your skills and build a fulfilling career.
