About The Role We are looking for reliable caretakers to join our Estate Services Team. You will be responsible for keeping the estates clean and safe for our residents. You will need to be self-motivated, have good time management and interpersonal skills and be a good team player to help make Islington a better place for our residents. You will be required to undertake caretaker duties including cleaning and other estate duties in partnership with the needs of residents and in accordance with management direction. Working flexibly, alone, or with other caretakers to provide an excellent caretaker service on estates as circumstances require. Please see the job description for a list of responsibilities. We have a very diverse team and are expanding. As such we are seeking dynamic individuals who want to fulfil our mission to improve the quality of life on Islingtons housing estates. Our objectives and priorities: To provide safe, comfortable homes and estates Support residents to live well in their communities Increase resident engagement/feedback and improve analysis and learning from responses and complaints Reducing waste and increasing recycling Our estate services teams collaborate with residents and other service areas, such as refuse and recycling, grounds maintenance, community safety and police to ensure our outdoor spaces are green, clean and safe.
