About the Role
Are you committed to making a positive difference in the lives of young people? Do you want to work in a successful primary school in East London? Sir John Heron Primary School is seeking an experienced Nursery Room Supervisor to lead our newly established two-year-old provision. This role requires vision, leadership, and empathy to embed systems, uphold high standards, and develop lasting, meaningful relationships with the community. The successful candidate will deliver high quality interactions and learning within the provision while demonstrating nurturing and supportive attributes.

Sir John Heron Primary School is a two-form entry maintained school located in the culturally and socially diverse community of Manor Park. Our vision is to lay a strong foundation for our youngest pupils and equip them with the skills to become lifelong learners.

We are looking for highly skilled and enthusiastic individuals who will go the extra mile to help our pupils reach their full potential. The successful candidate will be required to start in November 2025.

Experience
Proven experience working with children, demonstrating a playful and enthusiastic approach.

About you
Ability to demonstrate vision, leadership, and empathy. Committed to embedding systems and high standards while developing meaningful relationships within the community. Nurturing and supportive in your approach.

Excellent spoken and written English and strong numeracy skills are essential.

Qualifications
A recognised Level 3 qualification is required.

Desirable: An accredited Paediatric First Aid certificate. Training will be provided for successful candidates who do not currently hold this qualification.
