Description
Canon UK are looking for an Operations Team Leader to maximize our B2B printing business by facilitating the best alignment of processes i.e. Pricing strategy, Budget and Forecast management, Price/Support fund management, Demand and Supply Management, etc.
You will also develop the business by utilizing accessible resources i.e. special price support, stock allocation, data utilization, etc.

Pay –£47,700- £50,350 plus OTE 10% basic

What we ask
Team Management
Line management for SMEs in the team, ensuring clear objectives and priorities are outlined and understood by the team
Instigate individual and team development plans to maximise the potential and talent
Work closely with the other teams/departments as a representative of the team
Price/Support Fund Management
Ensure the best pricing strategy is taken for new product launches for both of H/W and Service in cooperation with product marketing team
Closely work with the pricing team to the deliver best price and best profit in deals supported by bespoke price offers
Most effectively utilize the price support fund to support the business, and liaise with HQs to get the best support
Manage the rebate program for dealers for both of H/W and Service, and constantly review the program to achieve the most efficient scheme ever
Ensure that pricing set up is compliant with SOX requirements
Ensure that pricing on the Web Order Management System is correct and solve issues if it doesn’t work properly.
Investigate opportunities to achieve best pricing practice for partner channel, ex. Expansion of the Web Order Management System to H/W pricing
Budget & Forecast Management
Closely work with the sales heads, Business Operations, and Finance to capture sales forecast as accurate as possible
Point out delta against budget targets, and notify key stakeholders of the sales progress and performance as call for actions
Utilize data to capture business trends
Achieve to have maximized but realistic budget targets by facilitating alignment meetings to agree on direction for unit sales& revenue targets. Assist Marketing and Finance team to produce most accurate numbers based on the agreed direction.
Manage scheduling and meeting arrangement for budget meetings
Ensure that administrative work for budget submission is accurately managed on time.
Demand & Supply Management
Closely work with the Central European Demand and Supply team (EDSM) and 3rd party suppliers to ensure that goods availability is good enough to cover demand.
Proactively solve issues for back orders in the system liaising with the order management team and the EDSM team.
Provide most efficient account management for the external fulfilment partners (West Coast/UFP) to ensure that dealers can access the stock just in time
You will need
Experience of leading a team to deliver outcome
Commercial understanding and business acumen
Good project management skills and the ability to scope projects with clearly defined remit and timescales
Experience of using reporting and intelligence tools, Advanced excel and database skills
Further Information
Salary – £47,700- £50,350 plus OTE 10% basic
Location – Canon (UK) Ltd, Stockley Park, UB11 1AF - this is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office and 2 working from home.
