Are you looking to work at an exciting new project, supporting women to exit sex work? The Role This is a dedicated role, focusing on supporting women to exit sex work in Brent. You will be an important member of the team during this initial implementation. We are looking for a highly organised and self-motivated individual who is passionate about this job role, your responsibilities will include: • Working in a small team to provide high quality, tailored support and services to women engaged in sex working within the borough. • Provide effective early morning and late night assertive outreach within the borough to vulnerable individuals that require support exiting sex work. • Providing support to women sex working alongside the Team Leader. This will be through shift patterns and will include early morning and late night sessions. • Deliver evidence-based psychosocial one-to-one and group interventions as part of an effectively integrated care package and to take an assertive approach to service user disengagement. • Provide effective assertive outreach within the borough to vulnerable women that require support to exit sex work. • To understand the needs of women street sex working in the identified local area through co-production. The Service This is a new project working within the Via Brent, New Beginnings umbrella. Via Brent, New Beginnings is a fully integrated substance misuse service, providing psychosocial and clinical interventions in partnership with Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL). The service is based across 2 hubs; Cobbold Road and the Willesden Centre for Health. The team actively promotes recovery and works with individuals that are directly and indirectly affected by substance misuse, working with the local community to improve the health, wellbeing and functioning of Brent residents, irrespective of circumstance. Location & Working Hours This post will be based across the London Borough of Brent. This post will be shift based, with early morning and late night shift work essential.
