Park Patrol Operative - Lewisham Location: Lewisham, London Salary: £13.85 per hour (London Living Wage) Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Hours: 40 hours per week About the Role Do you want to make a real difference in your community while working outdoors? We are looking for Park Patrol Operatives to help keep Lewisham’s award-winning parks safe, welcoming, and enjoyable for all visitors. This is a fantastic opportunity to engage with the public, support local events, and ensure our green spaces are well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities: ✔ Engage with park visitors, answer questions, and provide assistance ✔ Promote safety and ensure parks remain clean and accessible ✔ Collaborate with community groups, Safer Neighbourhood Teams, and local services ✔ Report maintenance issues and carry out minor repairs ✔ Assist with graffiti removal and litter collection ✔ Support the smooth running of events in partnership with local organisations Who We’re Looking For: A friendly and approachable communicator who enjoys working with people A reliable team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic Someone who takes pride in their surroundings and wants to make a difference A full UK driving licence is required Understanding of park byelaws and safety procedures (or willingness to learn)
