Parks Infrastructure Maintenance Operative Location: Kingston Upon Thames Salary: £14.50 per hour Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours per week) Are you a skilled tradesperson with a passion for maintaining and improving public spaces? We are looking for a Parks Infrastructure Maintenance Operative to join our team in Kingston Upon Thames. This hands-on role involves repairing and maintaining parks infrastructure, ensuring our open spaces remain safe and enjoyable for all. Key Responsibilities: ✔ Carry out reactive and planned maintenance on play equipment, paths, benches, fences, park buildings, and more. ✔ Work with suppliers to obtain quotes, organise materials, and complete necessary repairs. ✔ Lead by example, motivating and guiding a team while ensuring quality standards are met. ✔ Operate company vehicles, machinery, and equipment safely, ensuring routine servicing and checks are completed. ✔ Interact professionally with members of the public, visitors, and suppliers on-site.

Who We’re Looking For: ✅ Trade Qualifications – NVQ Level 2 in carpentry, plumbing, or similar. ✅ Experience – At least two years in a similar maintenance role. ✅ Leadership Skills – Ability to manage and guide a team effectively. ✅ Health & Safety Knowledge – Strong commitment to maintaining safety standards. ✅ Full UK Driver’s Licence – Ability to tow is desirable. ✅ Desirable Qualifications: RPII Play Inspector certification.
