This role requires someone who genuinely cares about and understands the issues affecting vulnerable people and the elderly. Regular social activities such as coffee mornings are held to support community engagement.
As Scheme Manager, you will work closely with the Retirement Housing Manager to deliver a high-quality housing service. Although predominantly lone working, you will be part of a wider team providing services across Chelmsford, Barnet, Finchley, Camden, and Hertfordshire. This rewarding position involves building strong relationships and trust with both residents and the internal Origin team.
Your responsibilities will include acting as the main point of contact for residents and their families, writing and reviewing reports, completing risk assessments, and responding to emergency situations via the Warden Call system during daytime hours. You will ensure all Health & Safety policies and procedures are maintained, including prompt reporting and follow-up of communal repairs. Regular scheme and estate inspections, fire alarm tests, and fire safety inspections will also be part of your duties.
