FTE Location: Main Office - London Scottish House, 95 Horseferry Rd, London SW1P 2DX. Full-Time permanent contract. Construction Youth Trust is a forward-thinking charity whose mission is to help young people reach their full potential and take their first steps towards a rewarding working life. We prepare young people for the world of work, support them to build their skills and confidence and connect them with opportunities and employers aligned with their individual strengths and interests. We prioritise young people from disadvantaged backgrounds, under-represented groups and those facing significant barriers to work. We are seeking a new Partnerships Manager who can help Construction Youth Trust develop and build on our relationships with external partners who support our mission, and in particular take a lead on building our corporate fundraising and partnerships-building. Our excellent relationship with industry is critical to our work with young people and our impact as a charity. We already have a wide range of engaged employer partners who provide volunteers and role models to support our activities and offer work experience, jobs and apprenticeships for our target young people. We are seeking a Partnerships Manager who can help us take an ambitious next step and make the most of our corporate partnerships - both in terms of income generation as well as developing new industry collaborations that create new opportunities and transform the future prospects of young people. There is potentially more than one corporate partnerships role at the Trust and the Job Description can be adapted to emphasise an individual candidate’s strengths/interests. We have deliberately included a wide salary range to reflect this and the salary offered to an individual will be dependent on level of experience and responsibility. We strongly believe that a diverse and inclusive team is vital to our work. We are especially interested in hearing from individuals who are Black, Asian or from a minority ethnic background and/or those with a lived experience of the young people we support. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All roles are subject to safer recruitment practices, and this position will require an Enhanced Disclosure with Barred list check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
