Description
Capita provide HR and Payroll services to over 1000 schools and academies in the UK. Our People Advisor teams provide advice and support on the application of HR policies and procedures, conditions of service and employment law, in order to reinforce effective employee relations and resourcing within their educational setting. What you'll be doing :
• Provide remote telephone and email HR support to clients, ensuring accurate recording of information in the CRM system.
• Apply the business assurance framework, ensuring quality, accuracy and consistency of services delivered.
• Deliver the full range of professional human resources services to clients, producing work of the highest possible standard
• Provide an accurate and timely remote HR service, responding to telephone and email enquiries and supporting HR cases.
• Ensure a customer centric approach in the provision of services to support client retention.
• Provide onsite support for clients as required, including advising at meetings, hearings, appeals, investigations.
• Ensure client retention through effective relationship management and also identify opportunities to develop and grow the business.
• Be an effective team player who contributes to the overall success of the HR function, supporting colleagues and teams when required.
What we're looking for:
• Experience in providing quality advice and guidance on high risk HR casework.
• Ability to manage a varied workload utilising personal organisation skills
• Up to date knowledge, understanding and practical application of employment legislation and issues including diversity in employment.
• Experience of handling difficult and sensitive redundancy, discipline, capability and grievance casework.
• Experience of establishing credibility with clients and communicating simply and persuasively about HR issues with non HR specialists
• Ability to provide clear verbal and written advice
• Ability to use IT systems to deliver HR services - ie enquiry management, casework recording
• Computer literate eg experience effectively using Microsoft Packages, Word/Excel/Email.
• Current and valid driving licence with own transport.
This role will require occasional travel to the London Borough of Barnet
