We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join fast paced and innovative team as a People Consultant. This is a strategic role supporting the People Partners and handling complex escalations from the People Advisors. Primarily home based you will also occasionally travel to schools in the Barnet area to provide onsite support when needed. This is a varied and interesting position with scope for progression within the business. We are looking for someone with a proven track record of delivering HR guidance within a school or MAT setting, someone who has a proactive and innovative approach to their work. What you'll be doing: • Provision of commercially astute strategic HR advice & guidance in accordance with employment legislation and statutory regulations and HR best practice to a range of clients including education, public and private sector clients. • Delivery of strategic HR Projects to clients in accordance with contractual requirements. • Development and delivery of client workshops, training and webinars. • Management of complex casework escalations from People Advisors, and support to People Partners. • Deliver high risk employee relations advice & guidance in accordance with policies, procedures and current employment legislation. • Delivery of HR Advisory services to Multi Academy Trusts, building relationships to ensure excellent customer service, client retention and business growth. What we're looking for: • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development in HR • HR related Qualification/Accreditation/ willing to work towards • A background of providing HR support in a schools/education environment • Providing HR policy & strategy advice • Managing high risk employee relation matters. • Current knowledge, understanding and practical application of employment legislation and issues including diversity in employment. • Experience of establishing credibility with clients and communicating simply and persuasively about HR issues • Working in a consultancy capacity with clients to resolve HR issues. • Working and consulting with trade unions About HR Solutions Capita's HR Solutions business provide a wide range of services into the UK's schools and Multi Academy Trusts (MATs) The provision of these services provide cost savings to these schools and trusts and at the same time allows them to focus their resources on others areas ensuring the smooth running of these organisations.
