Description
Canon EMEA is looking for a passionate and driven Performance and Talent Management Senior Specialist to join the HR Centre of Excellence in our headquarters, reporting into the Talent and Performance Management Senior Manager. This role supports the development, design and implementation of performance and talent management processes and programs, to help our colleagues, and the business, achieve their goals. It is also the operational lead for our annual EMEA wide employee satisfaction survey “Your Voice”.
Key responsibilities:
Manages the Canon EMEA Performance Management process, ensuring that key milestones are identified, EMEA wide communication plan is in place and the HR Management across EMEA are clear on the trigger points, and supported by the COE. Ensuring that the HRIS system supports the process and is set up correctly. Therefore, ensuring this process supports the Return on Human Capital Employed
Supports the Canon EMEA Talent Management process, ensuring that key milestones are identified, EMEA wide communication plan is in place and the HR Management across EMEA are clear on the trigger points, and supported by the COE. Ensuring that the HRIS system supports the process and is set up correctly. Therefore, ensuring this process supports the needs identified for the future success of the business
Operational leads of the implementation of the Your Voice (employee engagement) satisfaction survey. Acts as the main contact person for the external survey provider, is ensuring that the annual conceptual design changes are implemented on the supplier side, is providing the communication and implementation plan in alignment with the HR Strategy Team, is conducting training and support for local HR community, acts as the focal point for all post survey reporting requirements
Develops appropriate employee performance and talent management policies and standards to ensure effective, fair and equitable management of company staff.
Provides reports to management on the success of various talent and performance management programs and annual processes designed to enhance employee performance.
Develops performance management project work / resource / quality plans, schedules and budgets. Conducts project meetings. Responsible for project tracking, analysis and management.
Monitors all processes linked to employee performance and talent management to drive personal ownership and commitment to our employees career development.
Responsible for creating and maintaining (in partnership with central systems team) the reporting suite across Performance and Talent Management modules in our HRIS, ensuring the business has a full data picture.
Supports management to design the strategy and objectives for programs that measure, improve, and reward employee performance and develop talent.
Responsible for developing guides to support all of the processes and 'training' material for performance management and talent management, linked to the process

In addition to a starting salary between £43,800 and £52,300 depending on experience, you'll be eligible for a performance-based bonus of 10%. What we ask
You will need:
Experience in a similar role within HR or relevant experience as a people manager developing a team
Previous experience in delivering international (multiple country) performance management and talent management processes or similar complex HR processes
Experience working in an international or multi country environment; experience with works council environments an advantage
Experience with Cornerstone suite an advantage
High attention to detail
Self-motivated and driven
Able to demonstrate ability to work independently
Strong communication skills and organisational skills
Degree within Human Resources /Business Management or equivalent work experience (work experience must be able to demonstrate the needs of the personal specification)
