Hours
Minimum 12 hours per week. 6 hours on Tuesday and 6 hours on Thursday, with additional hours available including occasional weekends.

Salary
£14 to £14.50 per hour (employed), self-employed rate TBD.

About the Role
This role is to support a man who is a keen football fan and supports Chelsea FC. He has a wife, two stepsons, and a young granddaughter. The Personal Assistant will provide companionship and assist with social and leisure activities, giving his wife some well-needed respite. Key activities include attending a Sailability club on Tuesdays and Thursdays, going to football matches, and exploring interests such as astronomy, fishing, cinema, and museums. The individual is wheelchair-bound and requires hands-on support, especially on the left side due to a stroke. A sense of humor is a bonus, and having a driving license and own vehicle is essential for transportation.

Experience
Hands-on support experience is essential.

About you
Respectful of privacy and confidentiality, reliable with good timekeeping, able to follow instructions and work on own initiative, hygienic, tidy, and well-organized. Fit and healthy to undertake required duties, patient with excellent interpersonal skills, honest, cheerful, and able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard. Must always work to high standards of health & safety.

Qualifications
